Yesterday Wendy and I were invited to Clarence House for a reception hosted by Camilla to support the work of The Brooke Horse Hospital (HRH The Duchess of Cornwall is President).
Brilliant Boot Liner
Black upholstery in the car and a big blonde haired dog – not a good mix! I’ve bought this really inexpensive boot liner on Amazon for £23.90 and it’s doing the trick.
Amazing Argan!
Well the lotions and potions arrived and I’ve been using them for the last 2 weeks. Most importantly I have a sensitive neck and chest area which seems to have developed over the last 2 years and I can only put down to age and the dreaded menopause which makes me fearful of putting anything on my skin which is going to enrage it.

Change those rooms, please!
Changing rooms in shops – This really annoys me! If I had a shop I would want help my exasperated customer (who is standing in front of a mirror in their mismatching bra, pants and dodgy old socks because they think no one is going to see them) by making the process of trying on clothes easy.
Yesterday I called into Marks and Spencer’s in Guildford to do a little bra shopping (you can’t beat them for ‘worker bras’). After pulling together a collection of different styles I then had the hideous task of trying them on. I can’t say I was looking my best but to rub salt into my fragile ego the room was unattractive had only one hook to hang anything on. Plus the lighting was the sort that they flick on in a night club when its chucking out time and shows up every blotch and imperfection. I couldn’t have got out of this cell quickly enough and truly think I would have bought more if I hadn’t been so traumatised!
Tis the season to wash the dishes…

Dancing On Ice!
Had a great night at Hampton Court Palace on the Ice Skating Rink! I took Claudia her friend Savana and my nephews Jack and Freddie.
