My Perfect Hostess Trolley
A major purchase has taken place… After years of loyal service and probably too many moves my old hostess trolley has been sent to the appliance graveyard.
Reaching For the Stars
Lynda Joyce – Astrologer & Life Coach
Most of us read our horoscopes and within seconds forget them but it doesn’t stop us having a peek.
Why I love organic!
A ground-breaking new cookbook, Discover Organic, has been launched by the Why I Love Organic campaign in time for Organic September 2011 – and I’m delighted that one of my favourite organic recipes has been included
Off On A Huff
I know my Mum said, “I want never gets” but I want a Huffy bike!
What Bliss
I recently popped into the Bliss Spa at the ‘W’ Hotel in Miami. The lovely thing about this chain is their consistency; wherever you are you know what you’re going to get. I came out with a product that made my skin feel so soft – it’s called ‘Hot Salt Scrub with Rosemary and Eucalyptus’. You rub in a circular motion all over a dry skin and then shower off.
Booted Off Facebook!
I have been in the middle of suffering the ultimate social rejection – blocked from my own Facebook page because according to Big Facebook Brother I am not who I say I am and the palaver to prove my authenticity requires DNA!!
Goodbye Amy
I have been following the tragic news of Amy Winehouse’s death. You always had a fear that this was going to be the way her life would end.

Speeches & Speeding!
Amelia said goodbye to her school days this weekend… it felt so odd for us and I can’t believe that her 2 years at Millfield 6th form have whizzed by so quickly.
A bit shirty
Corbin and Dan Pasco – our fabulous producer – strangely sporting the same picnic tablecloth look!
Hang ’Em High
Have you put up hanging baskets this year? With moving house I was a little late but they are blooming and I’m so proud of them.
Boxing Day
This is my nephew Freddie…. Why is the box always more exciting than the contents?!
And Horse Power!
While mum and dad were visiting me I took the opportunity to take dad out for a ride in the old 1938 MG TB that he used to ride about in when he was at Birmingham University.
Flower Power
A two week trip back to the UK has been the highlight of the past month for me. After the oppressive city heat of Toronto, slipping back into the more moderate climes of home was very welcome indeed. It was a jam-packed fortnight, with lots of catching up with friends and family, including a trip to Hampton Court Flower Show with my parents
Farewell Blue Peter
A happy but sad day as the last episode of Blue Peter was broadcast from BBC Television Centre. Diane Lousie Jordan, Janet Ellis and I (along with the current Blue Peter team) attempted the hoola hooping record… and we did it!!
Please Sir…
My nephew Jack played the part of Mr Brownlow in the Year 6 production of Oliver at The Vineyard School.
Game, Set & Match!
My nephew Freddie (the blonde one) and his team mates Mina, Juan and Claire represented The Vineyard School in Richmond at a borough tennis tournament… and won!
